Alberta behind NFLD, Saskatchewan in economic growth last year

CALGARY – Alberta’s annual economic growth in 2013 was the third highest in the country, according to Statistics Canada. The federal government reported Tuesday that Real Gross Domestic Product growth was led by Newfoundland & Labrador at 7.9 per cent followed by Saskatchewan (4.8 per cent) and Alberta (3.9 per cent).
