Don Cayo: Communication suffers when no one listens

How can consensus ever be found when people on opposite sides of an issue often won’t listen to each other, can’t agree on the facts, don’t believe what the other guys say, and/or approach every conversation with the sole goal of scoring points? These questions could be aptly asked in the context of quite a few public policy debates in Canada today, but none more so than resource development in B.C.
